Outpatient Department

Led by Dr. Kyaw Soe Aung and other associate doctors, treatment is provided, and patients are referred to the relevant departments according to their specific conditions.

On average, we serve 400 patients daily and approximately 10,000 patients per month, accounting estimated for weekdays and excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Medical Department

In the general outpatient department, Professor Dr. Daw Win Win Myint leads the team in providing treatment to patients.

Approximately 800 out patients receive healthcare services monthly.

Treatment is provided for common ailments, diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases, chest pain, respiratory disease, and related conditions.

Surgery Department

Led by Professor Dr. U Htet Myat and Professor Dr. U Ramzar War, there are two departments for minor and major surgeries. In 2023, a total of 1,400 surgical procedures were performed. A team consisting of 13 assistant doctors provided support. Procedures being performed include skin grafting, liposuction, sternotomy, muscle biopsies, excisions of gallbladders and spleens, hernia repairs, and ear reconstructive surgeries.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Department

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is led by Dr. Daw Thandar Lwin, with oversight from other specialized doctors. It caters to both normal deliveries and cesarean sections, providing healthcare services to approximately 2,500 obstetric and obstetric and gynecological patients each year. Treatment is also offered for other conditions related to the uterus.

Haemo-Dialysis Department

The Hemodialysis Department provides services to 120 individuals weekly. It focuses on treating 20 individuals within 6 days a week. Although 6,240 sessions occur annually, each session lasts 4 hours, and one program costs 160,000 MMK. The daily total consumption of 20 session amounts to 3,200,000 MMK. Monthly usage of 520 session amounts to 83,200,000 MMK, while annual total usage of 6,240 session is 998,400,000 MMK.

X-Ray and Ultrasound Department

Imaging and Ultrasound technologists lead the team in providing advanced radiology services. The laboratory offers services for disease screenings and advanced testing.

Laboratory Department

The blood donation bank and laboratory are located in the main building extension and although some of the modern laboratory equipment is providing advanced replacement services, there are still remaining equipment that is needed to further upgrade the laboratory.

Ophthalmology Department

The ophthalmic surgeries are led by Professor Dr. U Ko Ko Tin, with treatment provided by skilled nurses. Procedures for cataract surgeries and other eye-related treatments are conducted. Approximately 1400 patients are successfully treated each year.
